HunterxHunter 2011 [Forum Debut Spoiler free]

i havent watched the anime because I read the manga, and it wasnt my type of shiz but what do you all think is going to happen when it reaches the long ass hiatus.

There'll be mountains of my cum from all the ecstasy from the hundreds of episodes.Then i die.

Well I finished the Yorknew arc and I have to say it's the best shonen arc I've ever seen. When I watched Yorknew I honestly forgot about the fact that it was in fact a shonen and just marathoned the entire thing.

Unfortunately now that I've started watching the greed island arc I feel as if it really doesn't have the same dark and gritty tone that the previous arc had. Also the fact that yorknew was more based in reality was a big factor in my enjoyment and so far greed island doesn't deliver in that sense. I haven't given up on the series but from what I've seen of the later arcs yorknew seems like the series at it's best.

the current arc is the best, I didn't like greed island much myself, but it picks up towards the end.

Greed Island is kinda the intermediate arc between 2 great ones...Its more like a training arc than an actual hardcore arc like Yorknew. Its good imo cause you understand how all these power ups come from and its not like the nakama punches you see in every other shonen like Naruto, Bleach and Fairy Tail.

Moreover there is too much badassness in the next arcs so its worth it

Just finished Yorknew City ark, best one so far, nuthing special though. I hope it will get better later on. Shounens for me are all about the characters, and until now I don't have someone worthy of being called my favourite. The anime itself is good, but as I stated, just good, I hope you guys know something I don't or else I will be dissapointed.

This thread needs to live again, especially now that hell is starting to break loose. Episode 111 had me smiling and fangasming in the naughtiest ways imaginable, maybe it surpassed even Fate Zero's Episode 17 because I wasn't such a Kirei fan back then... So many predictions, so many expectations, need to share them.
Also, if anyone of you guys didn't watch the preview of the next episode then you are "lucky", you are in bliss yet in ignorance, and I am super excited yet super spoiled!!!

Anime's just GOD-TIER.Netero will put up quite a show for us,nothing more to say.
