Heres what i do, if most of your clips are 720p i render whole vid in internet HD .mp4 720p. But if i have more 1080p clips then 720, then i convert my 720p episodes to 1080p so that all the scenes are 1080p and then i render in internet hd .mp4 1080p, but thats quite rare i recomend u stick with 720p cause youtube's 1080p isnt true quality, and isnt worth the trouble, not many people choose to watch vids in 1080p cause of internet connection speed as well and difference between 720 and 1080 on youtube isnt as much as you think, also stretching 720p clips to 1080p can sometimes mess with quality or cause pixelation on rare occasions. also keep in mind that you can enhance ur clips with plugins software like magic bullet or newblue fx if you know how to use em like a boss XD

yes I thought of that too...but I had check the box so its not that.I ended up rendering it with my old render settings (wmv).
Also I noticed that the mp4 file was too big.
I mean that my vid is 1.30 minute and the mp4 file was like 250 mb while the wmv is 60 mb...and the difference in quality is not really that much.To me its almost the same.
But its always good to have more options :P

If you want the people who are watching your ams to get 100% out of them then you'll do the sacrifice and undergo the extra render time and size for that.Gotta respect your own work.

If you're doing a full and your computer can't handle the render or barely(and it's too much of a hassle for you to render it in parts and the render it all together) then fine go .wmv.

for the vids I do which is 30 secs to 1.30 min usualy I can do the mp4 since its a little better...but....I need to have audio too :P

for bigger things I don't know though...I am sure I can't make a full...but if I render it in parts and then get the whole thing together maybe I can

about size: Read spoiler="Note" in my 1st post

about time: Rendering with the template i do takes 1/3 of the time it would take to render in wmv and that is because the video is uncompressed :)

and now go read spoiler="Note" in my 1st post

As for quality, to me they were different that's why i now use this template :)
