I really can't think of an anime with a better ending, EVERYTIME i watch it i get goosebumps and i am about to cry...i don't think i ll ever watch a better anime or i ll like an anime character as much as lelouch
it's obvious but those who haven't watched code geass shouldn't press the spoiler and watch it

Look niko,please don't flame me but both the endings of Code Geass and Death Note didn't sit well with me.Disappointed with Light and it didn't suit Lelouch's character.Both anime were great though.

I felt something strange when I saw CC talking to Lelouche, and then I had finally understand whay actually happened...

The ending in a form was for me one of the worst fanservice ever.Giving such a nice end to Lelouch,out of character completely.

why you think that this wasn't the original ending that the author thought about and it just ended like this for fanservice? since you mentioned death note, yeah the ending of death note was really bad but on hte other hand you couldn't let Light stay alive but in code geass he killed Lelouch but still makes a very good ending out of it

Teh spoilers are overbearing.He fanserviced himself,i don't know if you get me.It was a forced good ending in my opinion.
