Monster (2004-2005):
HBO decided to make "Monster" a TV Series. I've heard about "Game of Thrones" which is also made by the same company and is supposedly good.

Death Note (2006-2007):
American company Warner Bros decides to make an english movie adaptation of Death Note. They bought the rights on 2009 but only in 2011 a director was hired to make this. The director will be Shane Black who was too busy at the time directing Iron Man 3.
Let's hope this will be a good one for the sake of the huge expansion of the anime community it can produce.
