Nikos this years math exams were hard but they were easy for the past 4 years?
They just decided to put some hard stuff this year I saw a girl running down the hall crying x'D It was fun.
I am waiting for this Wednesday,we have a Physic (kateuthinsis) exam if I write a marks from 5+ are acceptable for me
but I just cant wait to see people crying and stuff cause physic is hard x'D
Also guys 2/6 !! Soon the king will come back :twisted:

well i never got why people would get emotional over grades but i guess if someone tries all year for these exams and in the end fails it's very bad.... but for me the point in life is one, being carefree

i don't know why the fuck people call it easier than those of the past 4 years... really... if we got that great minds in our schools then okay, sorry...(though i doubt we do...) but you know this year's maths' exams needed patience and a clear and fast-thinking mind! people are happy after they finished their exams but i doubt they solved all the problems correctly. people in the past 4 years could somehow solve 2-3/4 problems while this year somebody who hadn't really worked hard on exercising the whole year couldn't go further than the 1st one..

don't forget that some people have set their goals the highest they can, and trying to achieve that goals (their capability of achieving those goals is a completely different thing..) they think they can do it, they believe that they will do it. Then the time of exams comes right there, and the problems that have to be solved in those papers are beyond their abilities... they get disappointed, they stop believing that they have chances to get a good grade out of such an exam...and at last they think that all that exercises during the whole year were actually a waste of time. Some may say that they did were... that if you can't reach your goal then why have you done all that? i don't know how those people feel, i've always managed to achieve my goals in the first time or even if i didn't i never had a second chance

Well for now I've almost failed but still...as 150 said getting into college is not something that will guarantee you a succesfull life people have raised from the depths of social ladders to the top all you need is a wise mind maths and stuff like that dont help that much but they are just plus information that wont hurt.:)
I may almost failed but I still like the part that this year I learned some new stuff and new ways of thinking :)

i agree with that they are just plus information but only if you don't have a goal (in my opinion). If your goal is to enter a certain university you value (at least that goes for me) everything you learn, and will help you through your academic life! Many info may be useless for most of the people (like Management classes for me, because i got no interest in running a business...) but still at some point of my life they may seem useful!

and as you said, those new ways of thinking that all of discovered through maths and physics as well as other subjects is how you get that "wise" mind :) that's what i want to believe!

so it's a matter of knowing your capabilities,potential...anyway, i remember how hard this year was...good luck to both of you, i wish you the best results and hold on, 10 more days and then you are university students :D

Also never listen to teachers telling you how great this university/college is or that, you'll end up being in the wrong place.

more or less, that's what i think (capabilities + needs + what you really want) thanks for good luck stuff :P

maybe more the "what you really want" because when you know what you want then you try for it but which student really knows what he/she wants in her/his life?? i am here studying tourism management (which i do like and i wouldn't mind it being my future job) but my dream job is sports journalism

you can't plan your life when you're just 18... you can't even do it even if you become older.. but you can decide which course you will follow and accept everything that has to offer you as well as take from you :) People live with their decision so we must make sure that those decision are what we really want!

That given, i can say that what i'm doing and what i'm going to do in the next 5 years is what i want in my life (for now!).

One thing this year is the hardest one media are bombarding us with questions .
