My intention is not to flame,this is a casual conversation.

I don't admire trailer editors as editors.They are the most popular kind of editors because they easily give people goosebumps with their epic score music and fanciful epic quotes mostly unoriginal and you're being able to predict each segment of the trailer and on the other hand editors that make awesome crossovers with days worth of work behind every frame who make you feel a different (better imo) kind of goosebump don't get even half of what they deserve.It's not the editors' fault,i'm not saying they should change their style or feel bad about it,it's the public's fault in the end,not even the amv community's.
However i'm not forced to watch or follow something i don't admire.

So if you have or will have something original to show me,i will be here.I wasn't following your channel,i had just watched your 1000 sub special back in the day,didn't interest me that much.If Pam says so too there must be something i'm missing,i will be waiting for you to prove me wrong,to do justice for all trailer editors,in the amv vault.

Sorry if you found the above offensive,till then i will gladly tell you my opinion if you ever decide to post a beta/amv here and try to make you better in whatever you want to make progress on.You seem a nice guy after all.

in advance i tel you this, it's ok^^...it's not a problem if you don't like trailers editor in general and with this answer i don't neither intend to change your point of view.

I just say only 1 thing that most of the people should know about Real trailers editing.
Adding an epic song, with epic quotes actually doesn't mean beeing an epic trailer editor. Most think that for doing a trailer that is the is necessary but in the truth is neither 20% of the work. When i do a trailer i inspire in general to real trailers from movie. Think about when you watch a trailer on your tv about a movie is coming soon. When you watch it for the first time, remembring that feelings...what i do in my amv, is working like i'm working for a trailer for some movie( i don't think in that moment i'm doing an amv, i want to do another thing). Building cliff-hangers, re-create a different plot (even more attracting more epic than the anime itself) and giving even that bit of editing with a "cinematic" style, this is a thing i'm doing since few months. I'm agree about the fact many uses a lot of quotes already seen and that originality is something that is lost nowdays. That fact that you don't like neither my channel believe me it's ok.

if you want to see something unique and original form me i suggest to wait or at least give me a chance (a chance to yourself to appreciate even a bit an genre that most of editors are destroying) with a trailer i'm preparing with an anime not much used i must say. Steins Gate. there is already a teaser about it on my channel if you want to check to have a little taste of how it is

that's all, nothing less, nothing more^^

I had already checked out the teaser,it was somewhat interesting but didn't quite like the audio quality,especially towards the end.I'll be waiting for that full.

luckily audio is something that can be adjusted easily, expecially cause is only a teaser for now...just for having heard from you, a not-trailers lover, the word "interesting" make me realize the thing is not that you hated trailers from the beginning, is that you hardly found till now someone who knows really how they must be edited^^
You're actually a motivation to make me convince you that this category isn't so useless how it may seems...i appreciated talked about all fo this with you ;)
