Gabber's summer project

i'm at 0% of this project. just finished the planning stage of it. not about a particular anime, i'm trying to make my 1st Horror/psyche amv with an original storyline using multiple sources.

  after the ic i wanted to make something like that.I love horror amvs and the songs used to make them.Try the monogatari series they have lot's of scenes, also another and tasogare otome x amnesia are very popular for these kind of amvs.

I've got the story and most of the sources prepared actually. Death note / Mirrai nikki / Another / High School of the dead / Blood C. not the most original shows, but ohh well, the story I have in mind requires that

Is Mirai Nikki worth the watch?I've heard some decent stuff about it

well it has a real "plot" I guess. but just like Game of thrones, it's better not to grow attached to anybody

I don't really suggest it for you right now you should start watching atc on titan and if you don't have anything else to watch then ok. Hunter x hunter is a good choice too, steins gate, kuroko i don't know...

I think you should get more experience in your editing before going into your first big project,hell i'm still waiting to get on that level.

true...I really need to start attack on titan sometime...I have been avoiding it for too long

I believe he should do it.Experienced or not he will learn so much from a full amv that he put a lot of effort in it.I agree that the result will be better if he waits and learn more stuff, but the best way to learn is that.If this one 'fails' the others will be better and better. (that's my opinion) Also it is summer so it's the best time of the year to put a lot of time to your videos!

I know I've got a long way to go peter. but I don't really have any other project right now, should I keep on editing nothing besides ICs until i'm good enough?

Good luck man! By the way I recommend watching Kara no Kyoukai since it has some really nice scenes you could fit into a horror vid :)

go for your full, take your time while making it.

Then, after 2-3 weeks, when it will be ready you will see (in your own video) how you evolved during the making of it :) The parts you edited at first will be different than the last ones. There is your evolution!

If you want to waste ideas on that evolution that is.You can either do that,or just practice with ICs and betas on your own till you reach a satisfactory level.That's what they call training in editing.

hmm.. perhaps I should listen to peter this time, since it's indeed the biggest project I ever thought of, and it would be waste If I misused such a project as a practice. Alright this project will be postponed, not trashed. meanwhile i'll do a small SAO (the good part) project.

Just to warn you so you won't be bugging me afterwards there is a possibility you'll lose inspiration for this project,that's the only downside which clearly depends on you and your determination.
