MY opinion: Same names win every time. With same songs. Everyone used "Void"... I think they could give someone who is not a "known name" once. Look at first five and you will see. Anyways, im ok with 8th place from 31. :)

Well guys..I think youtube last years (mostly last 2 years since it became full of *editors*) has changed to the worse. Nowadays it is not about the editing but about the connections. There are the so called *big names* who sometimes aren't that good editors but since they are appealing to the public they gained subs + fame and there are a lot of young editors who move close to them, supporting them blindly in order to gain some of their help/fame (like subs videos, there was a point last year that countless of sub/dedication videos appeared).

In most Beta Battles - Contests the judges are friends of the *good names*. Same goes for most productions in youtube. 90% of the members is the same in all productions, the difference is just the leader. Everybody makes his own prod to feel like a leader and his *friends* join him... So it isn't that a *new guy* cannot beat a *famous one* but more like *they *known* and the *unknown* do not have the same chances*...

Editing has become such a marketing business, facebook pages/twitter e.t.c....

But yeah it's true, especially 5-6 months ago when even Booooooom was on YouTube, 10 productions each one consisting of 10 members (all the same) with a leader being different in each one... AKA, DES, DIS, BSZ and more...

This contest is not from youtube o_O I have long left that community. the judging is really fair and I have watched all the entries. Ohh and Vipertrix & Tricky both have less subs than me. these veterans winning cons (besides sempai I guess) have really small channels.
