New trend???

i won't write anything about the editing/amv ... but i've seen it in other videos as well...

i remember back in 2007-2008 people were adding a high quality image in the end of their video coz it was said that if you do so your video will have a better quality on youtube.. but some guys nowadays tend to do the same though their amvs last only 1min.. thus you get tricked that it may be a full amv -_- (or i just get tricked...)

views views views and people want more views. Since short vids don't get them

Some people seem to do it even just to get there vid to 40 seconds which seems pretty pointless to me.

not completely sure about that. I check my YT stats often and people tend to drop after 2-3m.

It can be a way, old-school style, to have a particular thumbnail (since YT makes them out of precise % of the video). for example, you get 3 thumbnail you don't like then you make it longer to be able to reach more epic ones.

But seriously the half-time image ? i don't figure... i knew TheAMVAlliance (some youtube channel i found interesting in the latter years but it got too ridiculous in term of level now)made them too, but i really don't know the reason behind that.

Oh Crookz I had this vid started so I decided to lengthen it a bit (so lazy/fast) for the BDay of a friend ^^

I used to see this "long ending for good quality" a lot and i actually thought it was true :PP , i am too innocent to think that it was just to make people believe it's full , but still the editors that had this were epic so they deserved it anyway

Fedebankai did it in his last video, but that 1 was a full I guess.

Who cares!You can upload your own frame to thumbnail now anyways...

I'm guilty of putting an image at the end of my video. :/
Didn't do it to make it look like a full (after all it's a 1 hour IC so the chances of it being a full are pretty low already) or to increase the quality of my video because it's perfect already.
Just did it, wouldn't harm anyone plus it's kindda funny.
