after watching tons of COD Montages and shit I came to realize that those editor are way more creative then us AMV editors !! you have these clans like Faze, Furran,Taka, etc
one of my classmates is in Taka team and he taught me so many shit about Ae I was like [ at last another editor other than me in class ]
I know that we have to work a lot harder than them cause we are trying to illustrate a story for the viewer and all that shit but edit wise the are better !!

well thing is I do not compare Gaming montages with AMVs, and I wouldn't call them more creative because they don't need as much creativity as technical skill. Unlike AMVs where little skills can be overlooked because of creativity. Now I happen to be a fan of gaming montages, but they're still not as exceptional as you're making them be.

I'd say both communities are on reasonably even playing fields when it comes to editing skill but there's obviously no real way to find out. All the fancy ae stuff you see in montages can be found in AMV's as well.
Could I see an example of these creative montage videos?

I had a counter strike editor contact a while back.He told.me it's all.about getting the clips,then it's 4 hours work for.a minute tops.We spend a lot more.
