Cannot relocate

Subject: Cannot relocate Thu Dec 05, 2013 3:20 pm

Hey guys, so i downloaded vegas and opened my project, then ofcourse my media source was moved and vegas asked me if i want to assign a new destination and i did but even though it did it for most of them for some of them it still doesn't do it, it still asks me in the beggining if i wanna relocate them but even though i do it's not working and i get an error the these clips were not found adn the media is offline, any idea??

maybe try re-downloading those episodes.. if they were raw then do it again, if you had them extracted from mkvs try doing re-doing the muxing and relocate. No other ideas

you know that to make this work i have to download the exact same ones and that's a bit difficult...i still not get why they are not relocated,maybe i ll copy them somewhere else and try again

you can try searching for each file on its own (there is an option) but you must at least remember where you have them saved on your drive

Check they have the same name as in the vegas folder.

i know guys, i told you, i did search for them i did relocated them but as soon as i finish doing that and press ok i get an error that these episodes could not be found and the media is offline

have you tried importing that episodes in vegas alone?

there may be a codec missing causing them to appear as "offline" instead of telling you that they can't be imported ;)

:O , yeah indeed i totally forgot to download any codecs so that could be the reason...that's why you are a genius :O
