sound copyright help

I uploaded a test of an amv im gnna upload soon and it was blocked in loads of countries including the US.
does anyone know how to change the pitch of the song in vegas?

and what are the chances of it avoiding the copyright claim?

right click>audio FX> pitch shift
and play around with the settings although id recommend you using the solo instrument 4 (less scho)
and make sure to hit preserve duration
the chances of not recognizing the song are high almost to 100% sure but id never recommend this to anyone because it ruins the audio quality
btw other method you can try is speeding it up but it will ruin your sync and you have to make the amv all over again

but like now that I know how to do it, how much should I change on either bar?
cuz I don't have a clue what I'm doing and I don't want a chipmunk song or the song to slow down completely.

Just play around with the values until you like the sound of it.
there's no right setting for those things , every song is different.
