HunterxHunter 2011 [Forum Debut Spoiler free]

HunterxHunter 2011 is a complete reboot of the original HxH series, starting from the beginning of the manga and following it faithfully. The story begins with a young boy named Gon Freecs, who one day discovers that the father whom he thought was dead, is in fact alive and well. He learns that his father, Ging, is a legendary "Hunter", an individual who has proven themself an elite member of humanity. Despite the fact that Ging left his son with his relatives in order to pursue his own dreams, Gon becomes determined to follow in his father's footsteps, pass the rigorous "Hunter Examination", and eventually find his father to become a Hunter in his own right.In the beggining it seems like a bit childish anime but as it goes on, the plot becomes really interesting, and also battles are taking another level.

Overall it is a good anime without fillers(at least till now). I would gladly recomend it to all of you....

You mean the way they are drawn?Well they seem a bit so baby-like(thats how it starts though)...you will see badassness later on :P :dat2:

Indeed..I hated the thing the main is 9 years old in first moments and in the end of first episodes becomes 12..I thought soo young..but the way of the power ups e.t.c make this anime awesome..No matter the age..Also by watching this anime you will see that OP/Naruto have some similarities in some points ;)

If i start an anime which one should i watch (cause it's better overall) huxterXhunter or accel world?I will see them both in the future but which one should be the first?

Both of them are ongoing...For accel world ask pampouks-san...HunterxHunter is a bit of a more realistic anime(comparing to the other, where a pig transforms into a robot) :lol!: :lol!: :troll Also HxH is an anime that many others got inspired from(Naruto and OnePiece have many things in common with HxH)...Finally HxH is in the midst of an awesome arc right now, so you will be pleased alot... :afro:

I want to see an anime like deadman wanderland not so many episodes good powers and good story If it has school life too it would be awsome Do you know an anime like that

Indeed...I hate the anime's concept in general... :(

Deadman wonderland had 12 eps...HxH has 44 and it will be going at least till 60-70..Powers are good and power ups are not sudden but well developed...And the main character is not the overpowered guy that will rule them all(he's getting beat up twice in the same arc).

Had watched 3-4 eps when it started airing back at the day,couldn't get past the fact that the protagonist is a half-meter midget,and that Leorio guy was too dumb of an adult.Sorry but i dropped it. :geek:

Well yeah thats why i said in the beggining its a bit childish...But that gives a boost to the way they power up...I was about dropping it too but i saw a vid of the old HxH, where there was the first big fight and decided to continue...And hopefully it deserved it :D :afro:

I guess that's fine,but the characters seem too childish and uninteresting and i don't think they will change after a serious fight.

Well yeah...but their development is really cool...they change alot during the series(from a boy to a really strong character) :afro: Its just an oldschool anime from which many modern animes are inspired 8)

This show is really good,the fights are top quality,i just watched the Gon versus Hisoka in the Heaven's Arena and this might be one of the best animated fights in shounen.The show really takes a total turn for the good during the hunter exam.

However i still don't like the characters that much and the current absence of a female lead is kind of throwing me back,i was so sure Kurapika was the female lead because he's voiced too by a female but it seems i was wrong...

i also finished watching this serie like 10 days ago and i have to say that it's pretty awesome,i like the characters and the fact that there is so much blood in the fights, it makes it more realistic for me and all this way of fighting with REN is pretty nice....

I would like to announce that i love stayros chan for bringing me back to this anime and my mother for giving birth to me and giving me the chance to watch ep.47.Also the 1080p version feels like i'm watching a blu ray.

I flew through the first 21 episodes. I'm enjoying it so far but nothings made me some kind of massive fan yet. I'll be watching more though since I've heard the later arcs are really good!

i havent watched the anime because I read the manga, and it wasnt my type of shiz but what do you all think is going to happen when it reaches the long ass hiatus.
