| It was announced that the last episode is going to air in theaters  Now that's a first. Will the last episode end in filler? In my opinion, there's no way that they won't do a second season. After this huge success, they will want a second season for sure. The blurays and DVDs are selling like craaaazy, all other products probably do as well, the japanese are hardcore fanatics and the show had a big success pretty much worldwide, especially in US, UK and Germany. - i mean look at that lol:
Not exactly what I would have expected on a Ferrari. Anyway the director of SNK (Tetsurou Araki) is a huge filler hater, I mean he dropped HOTD halfways without a filler ending for a possible continuation to the chances of a lame filler ending are close to zero. But since they are building this episode up to be really good and all, I think they will add filler or even end it with filler but they will definitely go back to the manga for a second season. They've added filler before and it only made the show better, I trust them to make it epic.  | |

| actually suprised their doing this, I hope we still get the episode broadcast to us. aswell as the cinema. the anime is too good imo, people may say the character development isn't amazing which it isn't to a certain degree but the genre of the anime i would call "action, drama" which it is. I enjoy it man alot, I hope my amv turns out to what I've got in my head and I hope everyone else doesn't make 1 for akross to :(. but yh the ending I think will be either - Spoiler:
I worked it out in chapters and the annie getting captured should be ep 24/25 depending on how they drag things for example the next episode could be over really quickly when levi rapes this bitch. which I hope. I dno from looking at the manga again, it could end when the talking monkey titan appears. or if they do a dramatic filler ending thats epic :P
however I've heard theres an ova coming out, not sure when in the story it is. | |

I thought it would be when the whole shit happens back in the walls as well but they animated 2,5 chapters apparently for this episode so I think everyone will be off in their speculations. Maybe they'll keep it up like this for the rest of the eps too. It'll air on TV as well, no doubt c: | |

Attack on Titan Creator Aims to End Manga in 20 Volumes.
So about Two years and 6 months worth chapters left, I'm quite pleased so see that he is not going to milk this show due to its mass popularity in Japan since the anime aired, and keeping the manga on a reasonable length. | |

| Now that I have some time to write a more in-depth review of what I thought of this last episode and the series: - Spoiler:
As a manga reader, I felt some of the changes to be weird, but overall didn't make the episode to be bad, but it was rather good, but could have been better in my opinion. First of all, the fight between and Eren and Annie was amazing to watch, and I'm glad to see how the episode started as I predicted it to be, the whole scene where we see inside of the church where people are holding hands to with each other in 3 in circles around each other, and soon we see Annie crush most of them with her butt, though sadly the episode didn't end as I predicted it, which was one of the moments I was looking forward to this season. Having all the arc build up to this very moment and to see that ending after the credit felt a bit anti climatic to me. Seeing Eren going full Titan fighting Annie was glorious to watch, his feeling for blood against the Titans was shown really well but he kept his humanity in control after seeing Annie in total vulnerable state, and THEN we see Levi out of nowhere cutting out Eren out of his Titan form. I guess this was done to please the Levi fans, but doing that they left out a little piece of Misaka thinking to herself that cause of her recklessness is why the Mankind's strongest fighter couldn't take part in this operation, and therefor have to take some responsibility. This could have benefited her Character development in this show and for her to witness the Titan inside of the Wall as the wall cracked right next to her where Annie were climbing. Also Hanji threatening the pastor for his views and power for the wall that kept the Scouting Legion stranded with their ideas just to get restricted by the Wall people was totally left out as well. I think this will be done in the 2nd season in the first episodes. Seeing Jean more focused on his character development throughout this arc was one of the best highlight in this show for me. It shows how far he has grown from the first time we see him from episode 3, and in this episode we see him take Keiji's place where he kept stabbing his sword into Annie's crystal ball saying her to get out of there and stand for her crime she committed. This is one major plus for the anime compared to the manga. Jean is easily for me one of the best characters in this franchise. At Erwin's trial, the guy who is asking him, his voice man... Unshou Ishizuka..same person who did Ryotaro Dojima from Persona 4. Good shit right there. Loved his work there. When it comes to Erwin, the anime also did really well on how cold he really can be, and seeing more of him is just one badass moment after the other. Ice cold mfker! The part where Armin comes up with the plan to throw Mikasa towards Annie as she was climbing was totally left out, not sure why they did that, but it was THE moment before Mikasa goes all cold on Annie and says "Annie...fall." Here is me hoping it will be added in the Blu rays! Having said all that. This episode was fucking amazing. Though making it go from a 10/10 to a 9/10 to me. Also I have to say that this show had one amazing OST done by Hiroyuki Sawano and animation by WIT did the manga justice overall besides of the last part. They adapted almost everything to each panel of the manga, and made an amazing show out of it. Adding some extra Jean moments for his character development in this show was a genius move imo and deserves a cookie! I'm pretty sure they will be a 2nd season as the manga gets more source material and get ready for more plot twists when it happens! Almost perfection for me. 9/10!

| I think they did awesome, it was a very well done, even though somewhat classic ending. It reminded me of Brotherhood, when everyone was preparing for the eclipse. I am seriously hyped for the next season, whenever it comes out. But yeah, had it not been for these last episodes, this series would have been average for me. | |
