You chose great animes to edit with, such an awesome surprise to see a video containing Kenichi of all things. Too bad its resolution makes it kinda hard to use for more proffesional edits. Hope you will use it more in the future, maybe with some Hermit action? I see you haven't tried many effects or transitions out, which is acceptable given you just started editing. Thus, the only thing I have to say is: concentrate more on the song and matching the video with it. You lost the sync many times for being like half a second earlier/later than the beat (e.g. 00:27, 00:32, 1:33, 1:39) which there is no reason to do. You might want to think of it as a mini-game at first, then it will come naturally. Good luck with your future edits ^^

Ok as it is your first AMV here are some starting tips. First of all you should find better quality footage. Some good sites that you can download full quality are (nyaa.eu , coalgirls.wakku.to , thoranime.nyaatorrents.org). Secondly you have to remove the subtitles from your footage...There are mainly 3 ways of doing that(using the pan/crop tool, downloading RAW episodes or encoding/extracting) You can find help on how to do the encoding in the help section of the forum as these sites mostly have the episodes in .mkv format. Last you should take a look on your aspect ratios of different sources to match.
Thats for the technical side. Now editing wise, you dont have to overuse the effects to achieve sync...You can use the beats to change a scene or give emphasis on a certain moment. Thats it for now...Hope this helps and hope to see you posting a new one soon
