I like it man! The story is clear as my underwear, w8 bad example... and i love the scenes with the text for some reason.The song is amazing too if it was with a different anime, with good quality etc this would be my favorite from you i thnk!


Gl in the IC !!

So, I expected to see just another dark & hellish amv with a story that does not interest me,from what you've told us.
But then, I come here, watch this, and realize that I do tend to like your ICs & projects which you consider as "retarded" more than anything else you make. Now that can mean that you shouldn't over think your stuff in the future. Oor you should just do whatever comes to your mind, I don't think you take my reviews seriously anyway, LOL.

But I still wanna write a review here because I feel like, I don't know, this one has that "something" that i look for in amvs @.@ It's maybe because the anime is oldish (And in my opinion old anime have better stories but executed not as well as some of the new anime) or it may be that this song really goes great with the idea you had. That is of course in case I understood it properly, but i'm pretty sure I did. I'd probably cry while editing this.

I really liked the way you edited this, we all know its hard & boring editing with 4:3, and it requires different techniques.
So my favorite part definitely is 1:14 -1:31. Got some shivers and also felt like "ooo yes yes she might be alive!!".
I didn't expect such a simple font in the end tho, and I'd maybe add at least some color correction, but that's just my personal preference.

I'm surprised that you used any text really, but it helped in understanding the story, at least for me. Oh and the yellow text which was there through the whole thing was really nice, even tho it reminded me of an ASMV I once watched... *runs*
The ending was sad indeed, but I'm glad they found each other. A more fitting name would be Die Gestorben Famillie ... If my german is basic enough, otherwise I'll just sound plain stupid. Might check out this anime if I ever get over 4:3 fear.

Generally, one of my favorites, together with Si(g)ns of an Angel. I would say this one has more of the "feeling" and "that special something" which makes the viewers stuck to it till the end to see what will happen. It's like I was on the journey with the daddy all the way :'(

Good luck in the IC, I hope that someone will appreciate the fact that it's really hard to edit with anime like this one and make a great piece with it. :)

Thanks a lot Sara :) I had a good time reading your thoughts, and about the title I think its senseless to discuss the terminology, but personally I prefer the current one over your suggestion, but I still love the fact that you thought as far as the titling goes.

Another comparison but from a pessimist, well imo I have weaker vids, and this is on a level above previous fails like Gefängnis for example. But yes as you said the whole thing is me experimenting and making a video I just wanted to be made. Thanks for your feedback Jas!

I already left you a comment on the youtube version so you know what I think, but yeah just to reitirate the story is definitely nice but presentation coulve been better, story wasnt too clear at some points and yeah the quality and aspect ratio is a bit outdated, At least make the thumbnail a widescreen pic if you can.

It's not youtubish :P its showing that you care by making every detail look as perfect as you can in your presentation of the video

Older sources sometimes have 4:3 and I see no problem. All 5 seasons of the wire look fucking dope.

Ok fine you guys win, and I didn't say my stories are any better dave, I am jut trying to give him something to work on from what I could see. And about the Aspect ratio I just thought for an IC this big it would be wise to choose a newer anime source, I guess I was wrong. Don't take what I say so seriously and close to heart. I said the vid was great and these are just things that I thought were the only minor things that I could think of for improvements. I don't get why I say one criticism which nobody agrees with and everybody has a go at me as if I killed somebody, just tell me we don't agree and finished.
