| Just like the title suggests, I want to know what anime had a 1st episode that just set a ridiculous standard for itself. Regardless of whether the momentum was lost afterwards or not. A show that gets you hooked from the very 1st moment. Any suggestions? | |

| I don't think that many people will agree with my list but i'll give it a shot.
This is the list with some of the anime (not necessarily good anime,be warned) from various genres that their first episode "urged me to watch more" and put a high standard for themselves in my eyes.
Others with success and others without.

| I think the first episode is usually the best from every anime and i am not sure about that. but i think the animation is better too.(the best scenes are usually found on the first ep)
So i have many anime that i love their beginning, but i will mention my favorites.
