| Hey i have downloaded some eps from horrible subs and some Raw episodes what do you guys think is the best i have no idea :S | |

| when it comes to editing it doesn't matter as long as the quality is not affected.. it is better to use raw episodes because there is no need to convert anything and mess up with encoding..
if there are no raws available (on 720p of course) then get the .mkv files and export the video, then mux and there you go with the raw version :P (exporting ->muxing is a method of converting to raw .mp4 without affecting the quality) | |

| videos without subs make it easier to edit because you don't have to pan/crop so that the subs will not be shown
+ pan/cropping-zooming for that reason ruins the quality of those scenes | |

Actually I wouldn't really say just that. of course creditless (Raw) is what everyone is searching for. but it's definitely not everything there is to it. For example I have 2 sources for the same episode in the same quality. let's say [ZeroRaws] which always provides raw clips in Mp4. format, and [HorribleSubs] who usually provide in mkv. most people will download from ZeroRaws since they don't want to go through the process of encoding/converting/scripting etc. but I wouldn't suggest that since ZeroRaws and other Raw clips in mp4. format usually hold TV watermarks which is tragic to be used in an Amv, and also gets you a strike straight from Tokyo. that's why the best would be a trustworthy source you know. such as [HorribleSubs] in mkv. format rather than mp4 | |
