What I've been looking at is around:
i3/i5 4/6gb ram 1tb hdd also not sure about graphics? would intel HD graphics be sufficient?
they cost between 400 - 600 english pounds including the screens depending on what end of the processor/ram I want. appreciate the feedback ^^ Well i'm using that in my laptop(Intel HD Graphics 3000,1760 Mb Dynamic video memory)...never had a graphic crush or something that is not compatible...I gave 650 pounds(its around 780 euro for the greeks in this forum) for my laptop and its specs are: Intel core i7-2630QM 2GHz 4 Gb DDR3 500 Gb HDD Intel HD Graphics 3000,1760 Mb Dynamic video memory...And its working fine So if you look for a desktop you can get the same or higher specs with this price... | |

| MBL are running really smoothly...Regarding AE, cs5.5 runs...Its a bit laggy though...but that is a problem for most of the computers with even higher specs... For sure you cant open at the same time and work 2 AE windows(Never tried it though)...Even cinema 4d, autocad and maya work with this card | |

| Cpu: Intel i3 Gfx: ATI radeon HD 5770 or 6770 Ram: 4-8Gb ram 1333mhz Hdd: at least 500GB possibly even a SSD just for OS and then HDD for media motherboard: Gigabyte Series wchich supports your Cpu and gfx and ram needs and with enough sata ports for you
somthing like that is pretty cheap and it works fine you will not have any problems i build lots of computers with specs like that here for my friend that have never experinced any problems and with sony vegas 11 and most other programs gpu acceleration you will not have trouble editing either and games can play to. it cost like 604eur where i live. it can render, play up to more then 1 game and have skype and msn you name it open and itll be fine ive tested it myself on those machines i build and if you want something bigger you can get it itll just be enthustiasm then most of the time. basicly the bigger machine you get now the longer it'll stay with you depending on how good you take care of it ^^ hope it helps :D
my specs: OP: Windows 7 Ultimate (64-Bit system) Motherboard: Gigabyte P55A-UD4 Gfx: ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1GB GDDR3) Network Card: dont have one atm XD Sound Card: no need of one atm XD Harddisks: WD 232GB & WD 1TB & WD 2TB Power Supply: Corsair TX650W CPU: Intel Core i7-870 (2.93GHz) RAM: Corsair 2x 2GB DDR3 (1600MHz) Screen: Samsung 23" 1080p Keyboard: random old one XD Mouse: Logitech G9 Laser
