[DanParthenis] 「 SwordStep 」 (11/08/2014)

Hallo there~
Improvement? weeeeell as harsh as it sounds to be honest I see nothing, which does disappoint more than just you.
Why what is the matter? The visual aspect improved when you avoided blurring the living Jesus out of it like every time, so that's one thing (but the cc still looked bad. quite bad), there were also some well done cuts, and the lip sync part wasn't bad. However, this video holds almost no thoughts at all. Why would I say that? Well we've got an unlikely anime-music combo right here (which is not a bad thing) but aside from being unlikely I must say the combo totally sucked. There was no usage made of the audio's unlikely atmosphere, internal sync was pretty close to non-existent although tracks like this 1 usually excel at that. Basically there was an extremely weak connection between the video and the audio.

PS: I would avoid throwing nyaa.eu as the source in the goddamn credits. Torrent-ing anime is actually illegal in many parts of the world, and this could endanger the site. Gosh dude very clever @_@

The cc is outstandingly ugly. The high contrast makes some colours look hideous, darker scenes hard to follow and those white scenes unbearably bright. Parts are undersynced as well as a out of sync. As the song transitioned into dusbtep it demanded something more effects based or with a lot more interesting sync. Some of the parts I thoughy looked pretty cool in your original beta are obscured by the cc. I also have to add that the audio is very unfitting since its a dusbtep song that's literally about the walking dead. You fixed a few things I mentioned but you totally passed on fixing up some beats ect. The insanely long outro wasn't very attractive and entirely unnecessary as I assume you're just trying to pad out the length of your video. The amv had it's moments but doesn't really stray from the path enough to be memorable. :/ well all i did was add contrast instead of adding complex cc which is what you guys didn't like and i think the song and the anime blended perfectly :P and were connected as one in this amv, i thought that i got the atmosphere of the song perfectly with the use of the anime, shame you guys don't see it

I liked it very much until 0.35.When the dubstep part started I think you missed a lot of beats that could make it more fitting.But you also got some nice transitions and syncing (some parts though not so good :p) that made it enjoyable for me.
The contrast(?) at 1.20-1.28 looked really ugly I think.I understand why you did it but I think its too much.
Overall I enjoyed it though and it was something different from most of your stuff which is nice to see.
