Unspoken rules of the AMV community

Here is an interesting thought I had.
What are some unspoken rules that in your opinion are clearly "a thing" in the community? Of course I realize that there is no rule book for AMVs, but the community is something else, and reality shows that there definitely are some lines you'd avoid headaches with if you don't cross. An example would be Twitch being a very cheap effect.

Now go ahead, I'm pretty sure there are a million and 2 things you can come up with.

Having an affair while having a waifu.
